Well, the vacation is over and I am back to work. Tahoe is seriously beautiful, and since I had never been there in my adult life, it was really fun to discover how much there is to do. We went paddle-boarding, which is basically standing on a surfboard and then using an oar to propel yourself across the freezing cold lake. It's really hard to stand and balance on a surf board, but after I got the hang of it I had a blast.
This is my view after paddle boarding. What a gorgeous place, huh?
Then, we celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday! We had a wonderful Tapas dinner (Won. Der .Ful!) and a fun night out at the casino. And the last day we were there Hubs and I went on this great hike and all of these pictures are on my actual camera, so you're gonna have to wait.
But coming back in to Fresno on Wednesday night last week, this was our view.
Amazing, right? I am truly blessed to have seen these beautiful moments. Too often I take these small moments for granted with the bustle of my daily life, but when I slow down and see these moments, and really breathe them in, I am reminded that life is short, too short to forget these beautiful moments because these moments are what we live for. I don't live to work or do laundry and grocery shop; no, I live to spend gorgeous days on the beach with my husband, and spend afternoons in freezing cold water with his family, and to tickle and tease my nieces and nephews, and share my life with my friends, whom I love. I live to treasure these moments.
